This Photo Tool is for a 6-wheel "Improved Standard" Luggage Van of 1854-1856 that was
listed under passenger stock with about thirteen built by two builders for the GWR.
They were all condemned / scrapped between about the late 1870s and late 1880s.
They were 27 foot 3 inches long and had three compartments and a guard's area. The grease axle boxes held
splayed ten spoke wheels of four foot diameter. >
This tool is for a body only model , but we have also supplied W-irons to BGS specification. At present the
kit is only available in 4mm scale, but 7mm is certainly available.
Specification for 4mm is:
Fourteen different parts (not including multiple; total of over 50)
Parts include: sides, ends, roof, floor, solebars, overlays, lamp irons, steps, hinges
Axle gaurds to BGS specification are supplied
